Vous vous rappelez de la bonne époque de Quake ? Vous savez donc sans doute que le moteur a été libéré il y a maintenant quelques années et que de nombreux dérivés (dont le plus célèbre est sans doute OpenArena) ont ensuite vu le jour. Eh bien l’aventure gagne encore en puissance puisqu’une bande de joyeux drilles a décidé de porter le jeu sur… navigateur internet ! En effet, QuakeLive reprend tout de l’univers du célèbre FPS dans votre navigateur Mozilla Firefox. Pour pouvoir jouer, il suffit de vous connecter au site http://www.quakelive.com et de vous inscrire. Une fois votre compte enregistré, connectez-vous et cliquez sur « Play ». Acceptez la licence. Vous devez arriver à une page de téléchargement du plugin vous permettant de jouer. Celui-ci détectera automatiquement votre système d’exploitation et s’adaptera en conséquence en vous proposant le bon fichier. Téléchargez donc le fichier et exécutez-le. Redémarrez votre navigateur et connectez vous à nouveau sur QuakeLive. Lors de votre premier accès, le temps de chargement est un peu long car il vous faut télécharger toutes les données pour pouvoir jouer (cartes et autres), n’ayez crainte, ce n’est vrai que la première fois ! Quand les fichiers sont téléchargez, cliquez sur le bouton « Play Now » et profitez !!!
